Redwood is a phenomenal choice for finger-style players. It is a bit darker than Red Cedar with a reddish hue. Redwood is predominantly from Northern California. Because of the rarity of this wood and the restrictions on cutting, guitars like the NRS-Redwood hold their value and will set you apart from other guitar players who use generic store-bought brands on stage. These guitars are striking in their natural wood combinations.
